A gorgeous harlequin teapot in blue by the Royal Standard. It holds 5 cups.The vintage teapot is decorated with blue roses and speckled blue glaze. It is in a beautiful condition, with the pattern and gold gilding remaining intact. A beautiful teapot to add to your china collection.

The reflections on the teapot are not flaws.

23.5cm (spout to handle); 18 cm tall.

High quality fine bone china. Made in England. The backstamp was used from 1949. In beautiful condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. The interior is clean and without stain.

Royal Standard was a trade name used by Chapmans Longton Ltd, one of the well-known Staffordshire potteries, based at Albert Works. One of its owners was Thomas C Wild, who also owned the Royal Albert. Chapmans Longton Ltd ceased production in 1966.
