An exquisite pink duo by Royal Chelsea in hand-applied gold details that are still bright and intact. Gorgeously done. Likely a cabinet display item given its excellent condition. It's a delightful teacup for use or display.
High quality bone china. Made in England. Pattern 3710.A. The backstamp was used from 1951-61. In excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips or crazing.
Royal Chelsea was a trade name used by the New Chelsea, set up by brothers R.H & S.L Plant in the 1900s. If the name sounds familiar, yes, they also traded with the Tuscan China mark. In 1951, the New Chelsea was sold to another firm, possibly Susie Cooper's, and continued to operate until 1961.
Important Note: Please expect condition of vintage and antique items to naturally have signs of age and use, unless it's stated otherwise.
