Attractive Sadler teapot with pink and yellow roses, swirly body and gold gilding. It's absolutely gorgeous and can easily match your pink, yellow or green tea sets, or those with rose pattern. It holds about 4-5 cups. A collectible teapot by James Sadler for display or use!
It has the impressed mark and dates to the 1940s. In very good vintage condition. The interior is clean and without stain. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. There is some minor rubbing to the gold at finial, spout and handle. Nevertheless, a wonderful condition for an old Sadler teapot.

Founded in 1882, James Sadler & Sons Ltd was a well-known pottery maker in Staffordshire, England. They made the earthenware 'Brown Betty' teapots rather famous and progressed to other designs which are collectibles today. In 2000, Churchill China bought the rights to use their brand.
