Prettiest Sutherland creamer and sugar in soft baby blue, with gentle pink roses, rosebuds and gilded gold leaves. Dont you love the calming colours? The shape is pretty and the rims wavy. An absolutely delightful tea set for when you have guests, or for your own tea ritual.
High quality fine bone china, made in England. Pattern no #3109. The listing is for 1x creamer and sugar set. There are a matching cake plate and teacup trios.
The backstamp was used from c1947+. In very good vintage condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. Gold gilding remains bright. But there is some very minor rubbing to the gold on some of the handles, which could be from being stacked previously. They don't spoil the beauty and function of teacup.
Sutherland was a trade name of maker Hudson and Middleton Ltd, based in Longton, Staffordshire. It also traded in the Delphine name. The family-owned business had earlier origins in the 1875, before becoming Hudson and Middleton in 1941. It was sold in 1973 and changed hands thereafter.
Important Note: Please expect condition of vintage and antique items to naturally have signs of age and use, unless it's stated otherwise.
