🍃Lovely vintage tea set in a light baby pink against a white background and gold gilt that is still bright. I’m fond of teacups in the ballet series by Colclough that is becoming hard to find as a set.
🍃Check out the shape and swirly handles 😍. Perfect for an occasion or as a housewarming gift!

🍃The set is in excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. Minimal signs of age and use can be seen: light utensil marks on the cake plate, and minor rub on gold ring of one of the saucers. But these don't spoil the beauty and function of the set.
🍃Colclough made a mark in the history of antique bone china. Ex-mayor Herbert Colclough started his pottery firm in 1897. Interestingly, not only was he the first to produce dinnerware and chinaware, Colclough also opened up the market by selling individual pieces for ordinary people to gradually collect over time. After many acquisitions and mergers, it became the giant Ridgway Potteries in 1955. They all became part of the Royal Doulton in the 1970s. Colclough ceased production in 1996.
Important Note: Please expect condition of vintage and antique items to naturally have signs of age and use, unless it's stated otherwise.
