This is a keeper! Stunning vintage tea set in cobalt blue, cream and gold by Crown Staffordshire. Fine china decorated in cobalt blue glaze, with hand-painted design in gold gilt and the edges all over. Just beautiful. It’s a great one to add to your collection.
High quality, fine bone china. The pattern number is A14944. The backstamp dates from 1901 to 1920s. Made in England.The listing is for 5x duos (teacup & saucer), 1x large sugar/slop bowl, and 1x large cake plate.
The set is in excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. Very little sign of use can be seen.

Sugar bowl: 12.5cm wide and 8cm tall

The Crown Staffordshire was a notable English porcelain maker since 1889. It became part of Wedgwood in 1973 and ceased the use of Crown Staffordshire name in 1985. Instead, the Coalport name, also part of Wedgwood, was used.
