A delightful vintage teapot by Tuscan in the sweetest of colour. There’s beauty in its simplicity and can complement your pink (or other matching) collection. The shape is lovely and it oozes pink. How can we not adore it?
Made in England, fine bone china. The backstamp was used from c.1957+. In excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. The interior is clean and without stain.
Tuscan was a trade name used by a family of potters RH & SL Plant, which operated since 1898 in Staffordshire. They innovated with chinaware sturdy for hotel use and came up with the pink hue for their china base. In 1966, it was acquired by Wedgwood and RH & SL Plant was rebranded as Royal Tuscan. It ceased production in 2006.
