A fine Sadler teapot in the pretty 'Mandarin' pattern: pink and blue blossoms, and green foliage. The colours are beautiful and matches well with similar blossoms pattern. It holds about 5 cups. A wonderful teapot to add to your Sadler collection!
It has the printed mark, which was used from c1947 and likely before 2000. In excellent vintage condition. The interior is clean and without stain. There are no cracks, chips or crazing.

Founded in 1882, James Sadler & Sons Ltd was a well-known pottery maker in Staffordshire, England. They made the earthenware 'Brown Betty' teapots rather famous and progressed to other designs which are collectibles today. In 2000, Churchill China bought the rights to use their brand.
