Vibrant teacup duos by Sadler that are richly decorated with roses and forget-me-nots, and blue edges. The colours and pattern remain bright and intact. These are very cheerful looking teacups!
There is a matching Sadler teapot here.
The listing is for 1x duo (teacup & saucer). We have more available. We also have extra 2x side plates to make 2x trios (teacup, saucer & side plate). Please contact us if you would like these instead.
Teacup: 12cm spout to handle: 8cm tall
The teacups are from the 1980s. Fine bone china, made in England. In very good vintage condition. There are minor nibbles to the underside of 2 teacups, but these don't spoil the function of teacups. Please study the photos.
Founded in 1882, James Sadler & Sons Ltd was a well-known pottery maker in Staffordshire, England. They made the earthenware 'Brown Betty' teapots rather famous and progressed to other designs which are collectibles today. In 2000, Churchill China bought the rights to use their brand.
Important Note: Please expect condition of vintage and antique items to naturally have signs of age and use, unless it's stated otherwise.
